The PR power of podcasts

Imagine if you were the keynote speaker in front of a captive audience of 65,000 people who were listening only to your message. Then imagine that after listening to you they visited your website, they signed up to be on your mailing list, they found links to buy your books, and they even looked into becoming customers of your business.

Now consider doing all of that without getting on a plane to speak to them, without staying in a hotel, without fighting traffic to get in front of them in a big stadium, and without even getting dressed to be up on stage. [Read more…]

We recently wrote about guest columns and their effectiveness as a tool for brand building and establishing thought leadership. If you want to take it up a notch, however, few marketing and PR tools deliver the impact of a book.

Books deliver instant credibility, allow you to tell your story in more depth, and unlike an ad, brochure or PDF, rarely end up in the trash.
