Imagine if you were the keynote speaker in front of a captive audience of 65,000 people who were listening only to your message. Then imagine that after listening to you they visited your website, they signed up to be on your mailing list, they found links to buy your books, and they even looked into becoming customers of your business.

We recently wrote about guest columns and their effectiveness as a tool for brand building and establishing thought leadership. If you want to take it up a notch, however, few marketing and PR tools deliver the impact of a book.

Books deliver instant credibility, allow you to tell your story in more depth, and unlike an ad, brochure or PDF, rarely end up in the trash.

Use PR to create a lasting impact

Since the early days of PR the challenge has been to find a way to blend the good of the company with the good of the community.
